Fairfield and Dubois (Firm)
In the late 1960s, Norbert Schickel of the Ithaca Festival Committee commissioned the Canadian architectural firm, Fairfield and Dubois, to design a festival theater for Ithaca. Fairfield was renowned for the design of the Stratford Festival Theatre in Stratford, Ontario and for numerous government buildings commissioned by the Canadian Federal Government.
