Larrabee, Maria E.
Wife of William H. Larrabee, Fort Totten (N.D.) army officer and Civil War veteran who refused reassignment to Fort Abraham Lincoln (N.D.) in early 1870s. Established stage stop, later a post office named Larrabee, at his home, two miles southeast of Grace City, N.D. Buildings burned 1886, Larrabee and family returned to New England; post office was closed.
