Utility industry executive. Born in 1905 in Hereford, Oregon. Graduate of Oregon State University (1928); married Ruth Bennett in July 1933. President of Mountain States Power in Albany, Oregon from 1950 to 1954. Vice-president of Pacific Power and Light from 1954 to 1970 and president of Linn County Telephone Company from 1952 to 1972. Served as president of the Northwest Electric Light and Power Association and the Albany Rotary Club. Member and officer of Masonic and Elks lodges.
