Fairlie family.
Family of Samuel Gouverneur Ogden and his second wife Julia Fairlie Ogden of New York City. Samuel G. Ogden was born in Newark, New Jersey, the son of Rev. Uzal Ogden and Mary Gouverneur, and in 1800 established himself as a merchant in New York City.
