Bertel, Birger Lind, 1886-1963.
Birger Bertel was raised in Nebraska before moving to Pillager, Minnesota in 1900. He subsequently moved to Fargo as a young man, went to work with the Union Transfer Company, and eventually purchased the business. His autobiography recounts his experiences and information on his family.
