Phillips, Bradley

Bradley H. Phillips was the father of Philip Phillips, the Peabody Museum Curator of Southeastern American Archaeology under Director John Otis Brew. Bradley was born near Fredonia, New York and read law there. He went to Hawai'i in 1895-96, and was attorney-general for Queen Liliuokalani before the annexation of the state. He returned to Hawai'i in 1898 after his marriage and stayed there on an extended honeymoon until 1900.
