Callaway Educational Association.
The Callaway Educational Association (CEA) was established in 1944 to provide recreational and educational opportunities for LaGrange, Georgia youths. It encompassed the work of the old Southwest LaGrange YMCA and other Callaway Mills sponsored programs. Originally intended only for the families of Callaway Mills employees, CEA membership was soon opened to the community at large. The Association ceased operations in 1992, and many of its assets were donated to LaGrange College.
