Wiswall, John, 1731-1812

Loyalist clergyman of the Church of England; first rector of St. Paul's Church in Falmouth (now Portland), Me., and of the parish of Cornwallis, King's County, Nova Scotia. After leaving Falmouth, Wiswall served for a time as chaplain in the Royal Navy, and described his experiences in his journal.
