The Junior Jacket Club was a club formed by the Georgia Tech Athletic Association to allow children to become involved in Georgia Tech athletics. Participants in the club received a certificate of membership, free tickets to some Georgia Tech games, newsletters, T-shirts, and other items. Eventually, due to NCAA regulations, membership was limited to children who were 14 years old or younger. The club was active for a period of time in the mid 1990s, and at that point had more than 4,000 members. As of this writing (March 2012), the club is no longer in existence.
