Official Oregon Trail Sesquicentennial Wagon Train (1993)

Hide Profile

"Since Oregon Trail history is a significant component of the fourth-grade curriculum in Oregon, NIKE, Inc., a major sponsor of the Official Sesquicentennial Oregon Trail Wagon Train, selected 44 fourth-grade teachers to experience the Oregon Trail 'first-hand.' From all parts of the state and from a wide spectrum of Oregon schools, these teachers each spent one day and night on the wagon train and participated in community celebrations along the trail from the Idaho border on July 28 to Oregon City on September 4, 1993."
