McNeary, Matthew, 1910-

Matthew McNeary was born in 1910 in Philadelphia, the son of Matthew and Mary Stewart McNeary. He received a B.S. in civil engineering in 1932 from Pennsylania State College and an M.S. in civil engineering from the University of Maine in 1941. He began teaching at the University of Maine in 1937 and taught there for 35 years, attaining the rank of head of the Engineering Graphics Department in the College of Engineering. McNeary died in 1990.
