The Tabor Historical Society of Tabor, Iowa supports the maintenance of Tabor's historic Todd House and its museum. The Todd House was built in 1853 as the home of Congregational minister John Todd, who in the 1850s was one of Iowa's best known abolitionists and was deeply involved in support of the Kansas Free State Movement and the efforts of abolitionist John Brown.
