Allen, Horace T., 1933-
Liturgist, ecumenist, educator, clergyman.
For over twenty years, Dr. Allen taught at Boston University School of Theology, attaining the rank of Professor of Worship. He was a member of the North American Academy of Religion, Societas Liturgica, the Mercersburg Society, the Consulation on Church Union (as chairman of its Worship Committee), and the North American Consultation on Common Texts (chair of its English Language Liturgical Commission).
