Cannon, James Spencer, 1776-1852
Cannon graduated from New Brunswick Theological Seminary in 1796 and was licensed to preach by the Reformed Church in America that same year. After holding several pastorates in New Jersey, Cannon became a professor at New Brunswick Theological Seminary and Rutgers College (1826-1852).
