Hamilton, Isabella Caroline, 1827-1878.
Isabella Caroline Hamilton (nee Isabella Maria Caroline Delarocheaulion) was the daughter of Dr. Aime Marie Delarocheaulion (ca. 1799-1858), a native of Dinan, France, and Sarah Catherine Wigg Floyd (ca. 1800-1876) of Camden County, Georgia, the daughter of General John Floyd (1769-1824) who was a general in the Georgia Militia and a hero of the Native American fighting of 1813 and 1814. Isabella Caroline Hamilton was the wife of Charles Floyd Hamilton (1817-1859) who was a son of Colonel Everard Hamilton (1791-1847) and Mary Hazzard (Floyd) Hamilton (1795-1888) and a grandson of General John Floyd.
