Regular meetings of the WUSM faculty at large were instituted following the reorganization of the School in 1910. General Faculty met regularly an average of three times a year for thirteen years. Matters discussed included policies on grading student work, changes in courses and schedules, findings of committees, and other topics deemed pertinent for the entire faculty to deliberate upon. By 1924 the value of these meetings was questioned and it was decided that the General Faculty would no longer meet as a formal body. There were attempts to keep minutes at only two meetings after 1924.
