North Carolina Yearly Meeting of Friends (1698- )
Variant namesNorth Carolina Yearly Meeting of Friends was established in 1698; in 1904 several monthly meetings withdrew to form the Conservative branch, while the larger body remained affiliated with Five Years Meeting (founded 1902), later Friends United Meeting (FUM).
