Warshawsky, A. G. (Abel G.), 1883-1962

Warshawsky was born in 1883 in Cleveland. He studied art in New York at the Art Students League and the National Academy of Design. In 1908, he went to Paris to study, and stayed there thirty years. He returned to New York after the death of his first wife in the early 1930s, and eventually settled in Monterey with his second wife, Ruth, where he continued to paint. He died in 1962.
