University of Nebraska--Lincoln. College of Engineering and Technology
The School of Mechanic Arts was established as a subdegree technological program of the Industrial College in 1896. In 1909 Engineering became an independent college. The name was changed to the College of Engineering and Architecture in 1947, and to the College of Engineering and Technology in 1973.
