Pace, Joseph L. (Joseph Leon), 1917-
Variant namesJoseph and Pauline Pace were the first Latter-day Saint missionaries to serve a welfare services mission in the People's Republic of China. They served in the city of Nanning from July 1987 to June 1988. Brother and Sister Pace also served in the Russia Moscow Mission from July 1991 to November 1992. Brother Pace served as the first branch president of the Moscow International Branch, organized on 10 November 1991.
