Bishop, David, 1928-
Variant namesMedical librarian. In 1976 Bishop was appointed by the National Library of Medicine as one of the consultants for the selection of medical literature for indexing in its MEDLARS system. He served as a consultant until 1987 when the program was replaced by the library's Literature Selection Technical Review Committee.
