QUINN, FRANK S.
Variant namesQuinn was a wealthy Berkeley businessman and involved with the American Friends Service Committee group working to help local Native Americans. Between the late 1940's and the early 1960's, he toured northwestern California and taped the music of the Hupa, Karuk, and Yurok tribes, among others.
