The Helena and Rimini Mining Company was incorporated in 1887 by Samuel T. Hauser, Anton M. Holter, A. M. Esler, Robert S. Hale, Francis Pope, and W. E. Frederick. At the time it incorporated, the company acquired the Eureka Lode Claim south of Rimini, from the original owner the Ten Mile Mining Company. The mine was sold for delinquent taxes in 1918 to L. P. Schroeder. Two years later the mine was again sold for delinquent taxes, this time to R. A. Luke. The company probably also owned the A.M.H. mill site near the Eureka Mine. The company also owned a small piece of land on the western edge of Helena, along the Northern Pacific Railway right of way.
