Hodges, James G.
James G. Hodges (1835?-1863) of Bullock County, Georgia, farmer, enlisted on May 9, 1862 as a 3rd Sergeant in Company H, 7th Battalion (later became Company H, 61st Georgia Infantry Regiment), November, 1862, promoted to 1st Sergeant, released from service January 23, 1863 due to illness (tuberculosis). He died in Tattnall, County, Georgia on February 6, 1863.
