Malcolm Cummings Grow (b. Nov. 19, 1887, Philadelphia, Pa.-d. Oct. 20, 1960), Major General in the U.S. Air Force, received his medical degree in 1909 and served as captain, Medical Corps, in the Russian Imperial Army from 1915 to 1917. He was then commissioned in the Medical Reserve Corps in 1921. After serving as post surgeon in Alaska and chief flight surgeon of the Air Corps, he became director of medical services for the U.S. Strategic Air Forces from 1942 to 1945. He retired in November 1949.
