John Reps, born 1921, received his B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1943 and a Masters of Regional Planning from Cornell University in 1947. He is a member of the American Society of Planning Officials, the American Institute of Planners, and the Society of Architectural Historians. He is the author of THE MAKING OF URBAN AMERICA, 1965; MONUMENTAL WASHINGTON, 1967; TOWN PLANNING IN FRONTIER AMERICA, 1968; CANBERRA 1912, 1997; and SAINT LOUIS ILLUSTRATED, 1989.
