Bruner, Clara Isabel Raynor.
Deaconess, nurse and Methodist missionary. Trained at San Francisco National Training School run by Woman's Home Missionary Society of Methodist Church (1915). Married Rev. Joseph W. Bruner (1917). He died of influenza (1918) and she continued her work as Deaconess. Mrs. Bruner later received training as a nurse. Bruner was involved with Epworth League and YWCA (1920s). She also supported missionary work in China and India, although she did not do overseas work herself.
