University of Texas at San Antonio. College of Business
Variant namesEstablished in 1973, the College of Business was one of the first five colleges established at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Its first dean was E. D. Hodo, with subsequent deans including James F. Gaertner, Bruce Bublitz, and Lynda Y. de la Viña.
The College of Business has overseen a number of research institutes, including the Institute for Studies in Business (ISB), the Center for Studies in Business, Economics, and Human Resources, the Human Resources and Development Program, Center for Global Entrepreneurship, and the Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (CITE).
