Longhurst, Cyril
Cyril Longhurst was born in 1879. He served as secretary to the British National Antarctic Expedition, 1901-1904 (leader Robert Falcon Scott). After the expedition, he served as Assistant Secretary of the Committee of Imperial Defence. He was awarded the C.B. in 1917 and died on 22 April 1948.
