Young People's Society of Christian Endeavor (Machiasport, Me.)
The Young People's Society of Christian Endeavor was founded by Francis Edward Clark in Portland, Maine, in 1881. Its object was to "promote an earnest Christian life among its members" and it was open to all young people who believed themselves to be Christian.
