Coleman, Henry.
Variant namesHenry Coleman was an African American who lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was a member of the United House of Prayer movement. He served in the United States Army during the early 1940s and was discharged following an injury sometime before 1943. In 1943 he took a job as a porter on the Pennsylvania Railroad. Coleman and his wife Estelle lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania most of their lives, apart from a brief move to New Jersey in 1951. Henry Coleman also spent a few months at the Veterans Hospital in Petersburg, Virginia in 1962.
