Lithographers' and Photoengravers' International Union
Variant namesThe Amalgamated Lithographers of America was created in 1915 by the merger of the Stone and Plate Preparers Association and the Union of Litho Workmen. The Feeders Association joined in 1918 and the Poster Artists Association in 1945. It merged in 1964 with the International Photoengravers Union (IPEU) to form the Lithographers and Photoengravers International Union (LPIU).

The Lithographers and Photoengravers International Union (LPIU) was formed in 1964 and became the Graphic Arts International Union (GAIU) in 1972 and the Graphic Communications International Union in 1983.
