Whitley, William Henry and Helen Butler
Helen Day Butler, daughter of Dr. Samuel Lovick and Lucy Lorine Lee Butler of Bullard, Texas, was born on September 20, 1882. In 1905 she married William Henry Whitley (1880-1924), son of Sharp R. and Prudence Graham Whitley of Jacksonville, Texas. The couple lived in Dallas and Waxahachie and had three children, Gladys, Helen, and William Lovick, who died as an infant. William Henry Whitley, a newspaper publisher with United Publishing Co., died in 1924 in Waxahachie.
