W. McKim Marriott received his medical degree from Cornell University in 1910. He joined the faculty and administration of Washington University School of Medicine in 1910, serving as: instructor in biochemistry (1910-1914), professor of pediatrics and pediatrician in chief, clinics (1917-), and dean of the medical school (1923-1936). He was physician in chief, St. Louis Children's Hospital (1917-). Dr. Marriott's research interest was pediatrics and biochemistry. He died in 1936. --Amer. Men & Women of Science, 1933, p. 741
