Nichols, Nina Belle Suits Hurst, 1882-1969.
Nichols graduated with the class of 1903 from Oklahoma A & M College. She taught in public schools in Payne County, Oklahoma and in California, was a professional baseball umpire, newspaper columnist, and a member of the community playhouse in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. She also wrote poetry and her autobiography, Vinegar Pie, in 1957.
