Arkansas La Salle Tricentennial Commission
The Arkansas La Salle Tricentennial Commission was established by Gov. Frank White by an executive proclamation on 8 Feb. 1982. The commission's purpose was to organize, promote, and supervise activities in Arkansas to recognize the tricentennial of the exploration down the Mississippi River by Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle.
