La Beau, Nancy.
La Beau wrote a thesis on aquatic vascular plants on Beaver Island (Mich.) in 1967 to earn a M.S. at Central Michigan University. A copy of the thesis is in the Park Library. Dr. Rolland Harper Maybee was a history teacher for many years at Central Michigan University. A number of his books and papers are in the Clarke Historical Library, as are copies of the newspapers.
