Leonard Moody Parker (1789-1854) of Shirley, Mass., studied law under Levi Lincoln (1749-1820) in Worcester, Mass., married Lincoln's daughter, Martha (1785-1822) and settled as an attorney in Charlestown, Mass. He was, at various times, a representative and senator to the General Court, as well as Naval Officer at Boston, Mass. His daughters, Martha Lincoln Parker (1815-1835), Elizabeth Waldo Parker (1817-1891), and Sarah Rebecca Parker (1822- ), moved to Worcester at the death of their mother to live with their aunt Rebecca Lincoln Newton (Mrs. Rejoice Newton, 1792-1855) while their father worked in Boston.
