Heider, Grace M. (Grace Moore)
Variant namesGrace Heider received a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in 1926 and an M.A. from Smith College in 1927. From 1927 to 1947, she conducted research at the Clarke School for the Deaf, Northampton, Maine. She earned her PhD in psychology from the University of Kansas in 1959. She was known for her research and publications on coping in children and articles on key figures in the history of psychology. She was married to Fritz Heider who also taught at the University of Kansas. She died in 1995.
