The Annual report of the General Electric Foundations contained reports from both the General Electric Foundation, a trust authorized to make grants in the United States, and the General Electric Foundation, Inc., a corporation established to administer the international grant programs. Called the GE Foundation since 1959, the name was changed to the GE Fund in 1994. The GE Fund was formed from a combination of the 2 entities: the GE Foundation and the General Electric Foundation, Inc.
