Beach & Co.
George Beach was a partner in 1836 in Phelps, Beach & Co., an importer and dealer in dyes and chemicals. The company became Beach & Co. in 1839. George's son Henry Bruce Beach joined the firm that same year but in 1844 became a partner in Woodruff & Beach Iron Works. Henry's son Henry became a partner in 1871 and the name of the company changed to H.B. Beach & Son. In 1889 Beach & Co. was owned by Charles M., George and George Watson Beach. C. Frederick Beach managed Vine Hill Farm.
