Wilder, Mitchell A.
Variant namesMuseum director; Fort Worth, Tex.
Director of the Amon Carter Museum of Western Art, 1961-1979. He established an active exhibition program that sent shows on the American West to the USSR and Japan. He also established the largest collection of photographs in the southwest. Over 300,000 prints are stored there.
