Fairhaven and Southern Railroad Company.

The company was incorporated in 1888 and built a 40-mile railway line from Fairhaven (in Bellingham) north to Blaine on the international boundary. It operated this line under GN control until it was formally dissolved in 1905, its properties being folded into those of the Seattle and Montana Railroad. Beginning in 1894, the Fairhaven and Southern, along with a few other GN subsidiaries, were operated jointly as the Pacific Coast Lines.
