McDonnell, Anna Lander West, 1876-1966.
Anna Lander West McDonnell was born in San Francisco, Calif. in 1876; her paternal uncles were Frederick West Lander, wagon road surveyor of the American West, and Edward Lander, Jr., first chief justice of the Supreme Court of Washington Territory. Her husband was Hugh McDonnell. Mrs. McDonnell lived for many years in France and was a member of the American Committee for Devastated France (post World War I) and the National League for Woman's Service.
