The townsite of Trafalgar is located in the goldfields region, 3 km east of Boulder. Brown Hill is a goldmining townsite near Kalgoorlie which was gazetted in 1899. South Boulder is within the Kalgoorlie-Boulder urban area and the townsite was gazetted in August 1906. Church of England services were held in Western Australia from the colony's inception in 1829. The Church of England in Australia was established in 1962 and, in 1981, became the Anglican Church of Australia.
