Worthington, Robert M. (Robert Melvin)

Worthington, former chair of the Industrial Arts Department, was born in 1922 and earned a B.S. from Eastern Kentucky State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota (1958); taught at Trenton State College from 1958 to 1965; later served in several state and federal government positions related to vocational education and higher education and was appointed Assistant Secretary for Vocational and Adult Education, U.S. Dept. of Education (1981-1985).
