University college, Cardiff
Variant namesThe University College of South Wales and Monmouthshire was founded in 1883. The Institution was known as University College Cardiff prior to its merger with the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology in 1988/89. These were subsumed within a new merged institution, Cardiff University.
