Stanley, Joseph N., 1987-1968.
Joseph N. Stanley, gunner's mate in the U.S. Navy, was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1876. He joined the Navy in 1892 and retired in 1920. He was employed by the Naval Torpedo Station, Newport, RI from 1920 until 1937. He was active in civic affairs and died on July 8, 1968.
