Hinds, Ernest, b. 1864
Ernest Hinds (b. Aug. 18, 1864, Alabama), Major General in the U.S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1887. He served in Cuba, the Philippines, and in World War I. General Hinds was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal.
