Frank Culbertson came to Spokane Falls in 1885 with his wife, Jessie Glidden Culbertson. Together with his father-in-law, S.S. Glidden, he developed the Tiger Mine at Burke, ID. They sold their mining interests in 1889 and opened the Wonder Store in Spokane Falls.
